Academics

La Salle Academy is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.  La Salle Academy follows the curriculum set by the Office of Education for the Diocese of Allentown and is customized to meet the needs of the La Salle student body where local variations are permissible.

The curriculum encompasses the sequentially ordered learning experiences, which the school provides for its students.  The total curriculum includes the development of Catholic values and attitudes, and attainment of knowledge and skills necessary for the student’s spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, and physical development.

Elementary school students learn the basic subjects: Religion, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts and Writing. Middle school students learn Religion, Science, History, Language Arts, Literature and Math. Enrichment courses are Music, Art, Physical Education, Spanish, Library and STEM for students in K-8th.

We know that Our Heavenly Father has a plan for your children.  The collaborative work between parents and teachers is sure to be seen when the children are ready for their life's work. The children can say with enthusiastic readiness as Samuel did, "Speak Lord, for your servant is listening" (Samuel 3:10) in the tradition of excellence which is the hallmark of a Catholic education.

Students are the heart and soul of La Salle Academy and we could not be more proud of how they each represent our school, family and most importantly, Jesus.  We understand from many that having a school with a culture of honesty, kindness, respect and personal responsibility makes our school a safe and fun place for the students to learn.  There are a variety of ways that students interact with each other from prayer partners and academics, to sports, art and music.  There truly is something for everyone at La Salle Academy!
