Pre Kindergarten Program
Overview: Our Pre-K 1 and 2 program provides a nurturing, faith-filled environment for children ages 3 to 5. These programs focus on early academic readiness, social development, and faith formation, ensuring each child is prepared for the next stage of their educational journey while building a strong foundation in Catholic values.
Program Information:
- 5-Day Program: Designed for 3 and 4-year-olds to prepare them for Kindergarten
- 8am-2:30pm: with aftercare available for an additional cost till 5:30 pm
Enrollment is open to all families seeking a nurturing, faith-based early childhood education.
Curriculum:
- Early Academic Readiness: Introduction to foundational skills in literacy, math, and problem-solving through interactive, hands-on activities that encourage curiosity and confidence.
- Faith Formation: Daily prayer, Bible stories, and activities that emphasize kindness, compassion, and respect. Students also celebrate Catholic traditions and participate in age-appropriate faith-based lessons.
- Social and Emotional Development: Focus on building relationships, cooperation, and emotional awareness in a warm, supportive classroom setting.
- Creative Arts and Physical Activity: Opportunities for self-expression through art, music, and creative play. Outdoor activities and physical education help develop gross motor skills and promote healthy habits.
Daily Schedule:
- Arrival and Free Play: Time for children to settle in and engage in open-ended play.
- Circle Time: Group activities including prayer, songs, and introducing the day’s themes.
- Learning Centers and Group Activities: Hands-on exploration of literacy, math, and creative activities guided by the teacher.
- Snack Time: Healthy snacks with an emphasis on grace, manners, and sharing.
- Outdoor Play: Time spent outdoors for physical activity, exploration, and social play.
- Story Time and Reflection: Reading books, including Bible stories, and discussions to foster a love of learning and quiet reflection.
- Dismissal: Closing prayer and a recap of the day’s experiences.
