We utilize an online application which works directly with our Student Information System. There is a $100 Application Fee. 

Children applying for Pre- K 1 must be 3 years old by September 1st of the enrollment year. Children applying for Pre- K 2 need to be 4 years old by September 1st. Children applying for our Kindergarten program need to be 5 years old on or before October 15th. 

Class sizes can vary. Our classes range in size from 12 to 23 students.

La Salle students' scores are highly competitive. In the past, eighth grade scores were among the top in Berks County. 

Approximately 95% of all La Salle graduates attend Berks Catholic High School. 

Yes, the application fee is $100 per child. This deposit is non-refundable. 

Families can pay their tuition in one payment directly to La Salle Academy, or they can pay in 10 monthly payments using the STS tuition management program. Tuitions paid in full before August 1st receive a 2.5% discount. 

All parents in the life of a child are welcome to volunteer and there are many ways you can serve the school! Please see our Volunteer Requirements for more information. 

Yes. Enrolled families can apply via the STS online application. For questions about our scholarship program and instructions on how to apply, please see our Cost Reduction Programs.

Parent and grandparent volunteers are a great asset to La Salle Academy. There are opportunities in the cafeteria, the library and at recess to volunteer. Please contact the office to let us know of your interest. Parents are sometimes needed as chaperones for field trips. The PTO provides homeroom parents for each classroom. La Salle Academy does have volunteer requirements in order to be in the school with students. Please see the Volunteer Requirements for more information.

The school day for Pre-K- 8th grade is 8 AM - 2:30 PM After care is available from 2:30-5:30 for an additional fee. Please see the Aftercare page for more information and to sign up.

All students can be dropped off beginning at 7:30 AM and pick up is at 2:30 PM. Students not picked up by 3 PM will be taken to Aftercare. Our Aftercare program is available from 2:30-5:30 PM.

Yes, we use a standardized dress code for our K-8 Program. Please see the dress code in the Student Handbook for details. 

Elementary school students learn the basic subjects: Religion, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts and Writing. Middle school students learn Religion, Science, History, Language Arts, Literature and Math. 

Enrichment courses are Music, Art, Physical Education, Spanish, Library and STEM for students in K-8th. Please see our enrichment page for more information on each class.

Parent/Teacher conferences are formally scheduled twice a year for Pre K-8th grade. However, conferences are available at any time upon request. 

La Salle Academy students in K-8 take STAR testing 3 times throughout the year to evaluate students progress and to determine areas of academic strength and weakness. This helps teachers make informed decisions about what to teach.  

Homework is given to enhance and recapitulate learning from classroom instruction.  

Religion is taught to every student
