Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The PTO is the Parent Teacher Organization at La Salle Academy. The PTO partners with the school to provide some of the extras our students enjoy!
There are many ways to become involved in the PTO at La Salle. Monthly PTO meetings are open to all parents and grandparents. All parents are members of the PTO by virtue of belonging to the La Salle Community and are encouraged to attend and participate in any way they can.
Some of the fun events where PTO adds its sparkle...
Nobody does Halloween like LSA! Get ready for some trunk or treating and an epic parade. Parents are welcome!
Each December, LSA PTO hosts a Christmas Shop and Santa visit. Students can shop for family members, friends and even pets at the Christmas Shop. Students enjoy shopping, wrapping and visiting with Santa at this fun event. Volunteering at the Christmas Shop is a great way to get into the Holiday Spirit!
Catholic schools week
Each year in January, Catholic Schools throughout the country celebrate Catholic Schools Week. At La Salle, we kickoff this week with an Open House on Sunday. The PTO provides snacks for the social and may be involved with other events during the week as requested by LSA staff. Additionally, La Salle activities include Science Fair, Book Fair, Winter Wonderland Carnival, and other fun activities during Catholic Schools week. La Salle welcomes our families to invite a friend considering LSA to events like Open House.
Each quarter the LSA PTO hosts a “FUN FRIDAY.” These designated Friday afternoons include fun activities such as movies, game stations, ice cream treats, dances, bingo, art and music activities! We have also incorporated assemblies with visitors such as bald eagles, police dogs, and inspirational people! If you enjoy being creative join us for a PTO meeting and help with a Fun Friday!
PTO fundraising efforts contribute to many activities and benefit the La Salle students. Fundraising efforts may vary from year to year. Past efforts have included our Denim & Diamonds event, crab cake sales, pie sales, and raffles.
